I bought this product and it never work right and died within 3 months. I got a replacement that I did not open until recently as I was no longer commuting and did not have use of it. After opening a SEALED product, the headphones did not work at all. I contacted support and they fed me some line about warranty. IT WAS BRAND NEW AND SEALED. So there is no excuse why is should not work. Products sit on the shelves for longer and never not work all of a sudden. The replacement was defective. PERIOD. I even sent them photos of all the seals still intact.
So this means that the company does not stand behind their products as they only expect it to last until the warranty get over. I basically paid full price and got 3 months of it working!!! And what is their response, its my fault and here is a 15% coupon to cover the tax on a product. Really...?
Anker has lost its way and has become like every other brand who takes their customers for granted and forgotten the early adopters who put them on the map. If this is the new quality of the product and the company, spend more and get another product with another brand that will value your support and will reciprocate support when it counts.
I am very disappointed and to be clear this is not my first Anker product. I have bought several things from them but it's clear when it does not work, they will come up with some excuse.
Stay far away from this seller and this brand! What I thought was good ended up with garbage support.
Good: price, good audio quality
Bad: frequent connectivity issues, charging issues, no volume control on the headset, you skip songs by holding down the earbud, which means if you’re lying in bed you better lie perfectly flat because if you tilt your head either way you’re gonna turn the thing off.
They do not work. They never worked. At best I would get a few minutes in one ear. This is a terrible product and should be avoided. Amazon---can I please have my $70 back?
When these worked, they were fine. Sound was good and battery life way decent. The controls were a little finicky - they often were activated when I was just adjusting the ear phone but other times would not work when I wanted them to.
The real problem was with dependability. My first pair stopped working in one ear in less than a year. They did sent me a replacement pair, but the second pair stopped working as well. This time, the battery was the issue. It did not hold a charge properly and before long I could only use them for 20 minutes before they went from 100% to dead.
Received as a gift, so the receipt wasn't appropriate and unfindable by the time the warranty expired, so Soundcore wouldn't give me the time of day when both earphones stopped relaying sound from devices. They could still pair to various devices, and they could control the start/stop of media, but no sound came from either earbud ever again :( A very poor first experience with Soundcore, so would not ever recommend them, or buy their products again...
