As a runner I have had difficulty finding earbuds that provide comfort, quality audio and most importantly won’t fall out. Over the years I have used expensive Powerbeats and less pricey Plantronics Backbeat Fits. Whether $250 or $70, after a year they start to fail. When my last pair suddenly stopped charging and needed to be replaced I happened across the Soundcore Spirit X2. I admit I had not heard of Anker before so I started reading reviews and was convinced to give these a go. First with the fit, these are very comfortable and I have no issues with them falling out or irritating my ear over long use. The sound is also excellent. Take time to try different ear pieces to find the right size and combo that works for you. I wanted the bud to fit with good sound but not too tight that I couldn’t hear ambient noise while running. I found the perfect set up for me. If you want a good seal and experience the full bass these provide, make sure to “rotate” them into your ear as per the instructions. Just pushing them in will not have the buds sit properly in the ear. The battery life is longer than any of the previous buds I’ve had but I have experienced one issue that was significant. After just 3 months, I noticed that one of the ear buds wasn’t lighting-up when put in the charging case. The headphones then started connecting to my phone even when off and in the case. I noticed my Google Assistant activating and couldn’t figure out why until I sourced it to the headphones actively connecting to my phone. After troubleshooting I contacted Soundcore and had a prompt response from Kaya who provided awesome customer support and ended up arranging for a replacement pair. Not wanting to go without headphones waiting for the return to be processed and replacements sent, since the headphones were working intermittently, Kaya arranged for me to hold off sending the defective ones back until after I received the new pair. I was very thankful for this. So, time will tell if these hold up over time and with an 18 month warranty that gives me half a year longer than any other product. In the interim, I highly recommend these if you are looking for a stable, quality and supported pair of headphones.
I bought these on sale for my son for Christmas (he wanted the apple ones but i felt they were too much for a 10 yr old) and he loved them instantly, great sound quality and everything. But ofcourse being that hes 10 , after a few months 1 of the earphones stopped working. I called anker for warranty support and I was helped my a great rep named Malcolm, very friendly and he helped us trouble shoot it then determined we needed a new pair (and we still got to keep the old one!) . I was so happy and so was my son, and the new pair arrived super quick! Within just a couple of days. I never heard of anker before this purchase but the quality and service have been great, so safe to say i will be a return customer.
My first set had issues with pairing, and muting instead of pausing. The company asked me to try a reset, and when that didn't work, mailed me a new set and gave me a free mailing slip to return the old ones. People can hear me quite well with these ear buds - even better than my headset with the mouthpiece I have.
I originally had the inside ear bud style, but they kept falling out, and the hoops on these keep them from having the same problem (and also let me have the ear bud just outside my ear when hiking through some high wildlife areas so I could hear things besides my music.)
Great sound! Don't expect to feel the base.
Très confortable .
