I'd like to give this a good review for sounding decent and having a long battery life. But those mean nothing when the speaker blows out after just three weeks at 60% volume and below. This is the second Soundcore product in a row that I've been disappointed with. I think it's time to shop other options.
I bought one of these at Walmart to play some tunes while I'm stuck at home during this quarantine. I have the Flare + that I have at work, so I definitely like the soundcore line.
This speaker has awesome sound quality, is fairly loud, and the battery lasts quite a while. The bass is excellent for a speaker this size. It's certainly not going to rattle your windows, but it's definitely clear and punchy. If you want earth rattling bass, there is no way around it, you need a much bigger speaker with a much bigger subwoofer.
The only thing I'll warn about is that you need to play with the equalizer settings in the soundcore app to get the best sound out of this. The preset ones just don't sound that good to me. But after fiddling with the custom EQ settings, I'm very satisfied with it.
I haven't tried pairing 2 together yet, so I can't attest to that function
Overall, this is an exceptional speaker for the money, and I definitely would recommend it.
