Have You Heard of Soundcore?
I'm on my third pair.
I didn't buy these for phone calls. I bought them for the sound and accompanying application. I did a lot of research and purchased these buds when they came on sale. They sound great and give you a lot of flexibility with adjusting the sound to your taste in the accompanying application. The accompanying app is the real deal.
I like all the options you get to make these buds fit your ear. It's not a one size fits all. There are plenty of options in the ear tips and with the ear wings.
I like the physical buttons for stop/play or next/back. You get only 2 options with these buds - 1 click or 2 clicks and that's it. You can swap out one action for a different action with the accompanying application (like adjust volume instead of next/last track). I adjust the volume using my phone. It's not a deal breaker for me since I listen to a lot of podcasts most of the time.
If you hold down the button you'll get Google assistant. It works pretty good. Especially if you want to make a call while driving.
Which brings me to where I am having trouble with these buds. When I did make a call, the left bud kept clipping and the voice space in my headspace swayed from center to the right, back to center, clip again and sway back to the right repeatedly. Another term one might be familiar with to describe this is 'voxing'. Funny though, this only happened with my phone a Samsung A20. The calls were crystal clear when I tested with an iPhone and an older LG model phone.
So I contacted Anker Tech Support and they immediately sent me a second pair to try. This pair wasn't as bad but still exhibited the same symptoms with phone calls.
So I contacted Anker Tech Support again and again they sent me out a third pair to try. This pair is definitely better than the previous 2 pairs but the cutting in and out is still there just not so prominently when I turn the volume down from where I usually have it to listen to podcasts.
There is definitely something not quite right with these buds connecting to my phone. I have tried Pixel Buds 2, MPOW M30 and Anker Soundcore Life A2 NC. These three buds do not have the cutting in and out issues the Liberty 2 Pro is having. Your mileage may vary and I want to emphasize even with the issues I have been experiencing with these buds, Anker Soundcore tech support have been with me every step of the way - more than I expected. These buds, unfortunately, just aren't working for me.
One thing to note. If you purchase any Anker Soundcore earbuds, you have to download their accompanying application. It is strongly recommended to install the application and update the firmware in the buds before contacting their tech support.
The biggest thing with these Earbuds is that are not particularly comfortable. Especially after longer periods of time. I am sure they have above average sound quality for earbuds.
Very happy with fit and sound from these buds.
Can’t comment on battery as I keep them in charger between uses.
Got them on sale - would recommend!!
These sound amazing, I have 3 different pairs of Beats including wireless & wired, a set of Sennheiser studio high end and I am simply amazed the depth of the bass and range of the mids and highs... I was working out and 1 part of the song had a bell and I actually without thought looked around to see where it was coming from. Great Product!!
Well worth the money I spent, does everything the tin says they will. Of note:includes a wide variety of tips and wings to ensure a very good fit.
