Left side doesnt work

The left earbud doesn't connect - I can't hear out of it. I tried to reset using the case but the red LED light never flashes.

Bought these for my son because I was not sending iPods to school …. He loved them!! Easy for him to use the features… easy to sync blue tooth …. Great battery life…. Definitely noise canceling because he never hears me when he is using them!!
